Organic Root Stimulator–Olive Oil Edge Control Review
Finally I have found a product for holding down the edges of my hair to I can brag about! Since I love to stretch my relaxers for 10-13 weeks at a time, I need to maintain smooth edges without the effects of a gel based product.
This summer I have been on a mission to restore my hair and revitalize my healthy hair journey all the way over again. I have fallen off track with my journey due to some changes in my personal life but I am in full restart mode now!
One of the protective styles I have been wearing this summer is a partial sew-in weave. I got my hair installed at 4 weeks post relaxer. While shopping at Target I ran across Organic Root Stimulator Olive Oil Edge Control and I decided to give this product a try. I was so impressed with the hold that this product had on the natural state of my edges. This product is like a great pomade with extra strength that doesn’t have a greasy look to it. I realized that a little goes a long way so there is no need to cake the product on. This product also has a great smell. I never experienced any flakiness so this product is a new fav in my staple of hair products! Olive Oil Edge Control can be purchased at many retails stores for $4.99.
I give this product 5 stars!

Proper Hair Care Tips
Guest Blogger Aleya
You work hard to make sure that your hair always looks shiny and healthy. But there are some quick and easy things that you can do to help your hair take care of itself so you don’t have to put as much time and effort into it as you normally do. Sounds good? Let’s begin.
Take Your Vitamins- Above all else vitamins help to nourish and moisturize your hair from the inside out so that your hair becomes stronger, healthier and shinier. Taking a complete multivitamin is the best way to go so that you obtain all of the nutrients that your hair and body need daily but don’t get from even the healthiest and most well-rounded diets.
Condition- Make sure to use a nourishing conditioner after shampooing to get rid of tangles and to soften your hair. If you don’t use conditioner, it’s only a matter of time before your hair becomes rough, breaks easily and becomes unmanageable.
No Rubbing- Many women think that the only way to get their hair fully dry is to rub it vigorously. Truth be told that a good rub is the last thing you want to do to your hair because the excessive friction can cause your hair to fall out or break. Instead gently squeeze the water out of your hair while you’re in the shower and then pat it dry once you’re out.
Take It Easy On The Heat- Sure you want to look your best but applying extreme heat to your hair is a sure fire way to burn it out fast. If you feel like you really need to blow out your hair or use a flat iron on it then go ahead but no more than once a week. This way, your hair will look healthy rather than fried and wirey.
Use The Right Products- If you’ve relaxed or dyed your hair make sure to use shampoos, conditioners and other hair products that are specifically made for that treatment. This way your hair will get the best care possible and your treatment will last longer.
Extra Love- If you want to give your hair some extra nourishment to make it more manageable and shiny then apply some jojoba oil to it once or twice a week. This oil helps to make your hair feel lighter, makes it stronger and fights frizz.
If you take proper care of your hair, it will return the favor by being better to you. Good luck!

Real Housewives of Atlanta Grace Hype Hair Mag Cover But Someone’s Missing…
Real Housewives of Atlanta are back this year featured as Hype Hair’s November 2011 cover. Like last year, NeNe Leakes is absent and the only non-African American co-star Kim Zolciak is missing too. Nonetheless, these ladies look fab!
While observing this cover I also noticed a new face in the group. Apparently the RHOA will be featuring a new cast mate name Marlo Hampton but she only suppose to be used as an extra….Wasn’t Kim suppose to be an extra originally? Let’s see if Bravo stick to their word!
Shereé Whitfield, Kandi Burruss, Cynthia Bailey, and Phaedra Parks are the other cast members of the reality show that are featured on the magazine cover. Notice Kandi’s new hairstyle…I think she looks great with long hair!
Stay tuned to the new episodes of RHOA scheduled to air November 6th!
